Gallery Rousseau presents two remarkable artists: 80 year old Anne and 28 year old Estonian Navitrolla.

Anne did all kinds of things all her life. Her husband (who died 16 years ago) was professor at Tulane, New Orleans, where I spent a year. This fact opened the door to her. After raising her children, she took many courses, among them in the arts.

Therefore, Anne is a very educated person and not at all naive, even not in the arts. She knows all kinds of techniques and uses bold perspectives in her paintings, for example. Anne says:
I am really interested in having my two books published: Experiencing Old Age is 24 pages, illustration with text. A universal theme. Landscapes of the Heart is longer, same format, about having lived a good life, trauma of death of mate, adjustments in lifestyle and mind-set. Also universal. [...] Also there are pages from my book called Moments of Awareness, 80 illustrations with essays---that is not for publication right now, but I would consider a really good offer from a good publisher. It needs some illlustrations to be reworked, more polishing of the text.

Navitrolla is extremely busy and successful. When I asked him about details he told me: "I have to deal with very many exhibitions in London, America etc. and some other projects."

But there is some hope. Navitrolla says:
The second problem is that my paintings are 150% sold. All these you see in gallery are sold ages ago. I usually don't own a picture even for a week. As for reproductions of paintings there can be done something. And I also have many etchings.
